Nothing kills a diet faster than having weak, nebulous goals. Ironically, another enemy of successful dieting are OUTRAGEOUSLY unattainable goals. Do you know how many people I've seen set the bar SO high, so fast...that when they've fallen short they've simply quit, and fast? Almost as many! Weight loss is about a life style and longevity strategy - NOT a way to lose 12 pounds in 7 days. (that's called dangerous, silly and FASTING!)

Tip #2: Structure and System Equals Success

If you want to know the TRUE secret of weight loss success stories EVERYWHERE it's a system and structure that supports you. Simply stated, diets that encourage structure, rules and process do FAR better for us than nebulous philosophy does. Understanding the way your body may metabolize certain foods is NICE to know, but it is NOT going to make you lose weight. The MAP is not the territory....and NOWHERE is that more obvious than in with dieters who understand weight loss philosophy, but can't drop 5 pounds to fit into that bikini we bought last Spring..:-)
