The problem with that rationalization is that if you are addicted to food you really don't enjoy it as much as you could. You may have a love-hate relationship with it, but it is often not that enjoyable. If you read or watch TV while you're eating, you are not paying attention to the food, so how can you enjoy it? What you are doing is called "recreational eating".
With hypnosis, you can learn how to release the illusion of control of food from your mind and give it back to your body, where it belongs. You will learn to respect your body so that you want to give it only healthy, nourishing foods in quantities that are best for it.
Some people will tell you that first you must learn to love your body and then you can lose the weight. That simply is not true. There are lots of slender people who hate their bodies. First respect your body and then maybe kind of like parts of it and someday you may learn to love it. But that is not required to begin to lose weight.

As you become more and more familiar with what make you tick, you will easily and often use the power of your own subconscious to move you toward greater control of your life.
